In November
of 2006, Mary Michael Neese decided
to try her hand at designing a
children's clothing line. She
put a group of samples together and
headed to Atlanta in early February
2007 to market.
While presenting her samples, she was
approached by a sales representative who wanted to take
the line up to the Carolinas and
Virginias...which he did and then he
referred her to another sales representative who took
the line to Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas,
and Louisiana.
Mailing her one set of
samples back and forth all season proved
worth the while as she sold well
above her expectations. She
and her team pondered going overseas
but instead opted to have everything
proudly manufactured in the USA. |
